I'm known for making absurdly (truly truly unreasonably) difficult puzzles. I don't do it to challenge others, I just enjoy making random little puzzles, and that tends to yield puzzles that are only barely solveable. If you choose to go forward with pursuing the puzzle, then it's on you if it drives you insane ;)

With that out of the way, here's some tips on what you'll need to solve the puzzle, and where to look.

1. The author's note isn't part of the puzzle; it exists only to explain the context of the puzzle, and detail where the puzzle does and doesn't exist.
2. This site serves as a place to host several of my personal projects. Everything needed to solve the puzzle exists on the homepage. Additionally, this only makes use of the HTTP(S) port and the webpage itself; no amount of port mapping or server attacks will help. The puzzle truly only exists in the webpage itself, and the solution will lead you to an independently hosted server. The answer isn't hard-coded anywhere; only by finding the pattern can the answer be revealed.
3. I've made every attempt to ensure it's solveable without reverese engineering it. Conversely, I've made every attempt to ensure revese engineering will be harder than solving it in the spirit of the puzzle.

If you still choose to attempt to find the solution, I wish you luck and encourage you to solve the puzzle in the spirit it was intended. You'll know when you've solved it, and if you don't think you're making reasonable progress, then you probably aren't.
